CES PTO Settlement
Posted Jul 6, 2026
WSNA and PeaceHealth St. John recently settled a potential grievance related to PeaceHealth's past refusal to pay CES when it was determined that a WSNA represented RN was ineligible for CES due to calling out sick. Calling out sick should not have been a reason for which your CES pay was declined.
If you believe that you had CES pay that was rejected due to a sick call going back to March 1, 2025, you may request a review through August 30, 2026.
In order to complete this review, PeaceHealth is asking that you file an AskHR case as indicated below:
Title of case should be “CES PTO Sick Pay Review.”
In the details of the case, PeaceHealth is asking that you indicate the dates you filed for PTO sick that may have impacted your CES eligibility for the pay period.
If you have questions or believe that PeaceHealth unfairly rejected your claim, please contact WSNA Rep. Travis E. Nelson at Telmore@WSNA.org or 206-575-7979 ext. 3117.
