Premium / Differential UPDATE

We are disappointed to hear the agreed upon settlement (Grievance #23-02-0030) reached between WSNA and Providence SHMC around premium and differentials has been violated. Providence Sacred Heart has informed us the retro owed as a result of this settlement will not be on the paychecks which will be paid March 31, 2023. Rather, they have told us they are unsure when the issue will finally be corrected. Apparently, this error was due to having to input the changes manually, which is taking longer than expected. Providence has promised to keep us informed on any developments.

We feel Providence has failed its nurses, despite the nurses’ flexibility through this process. Because the settlement reached for Williams and All Affected (Association Group Grievance #23-02-0030) has been violated, another grievance was filed today to remedy this issue (NEW - Williams and All Affected Association Group Grievance #23-03-0079). We are working as quickly as we can to get to the bottom of this issue and find a proper solution for our hard-working nurses.

As always, we will keep you up to date on any developments.
