We heard from our nurses as of last Friday, February 3, the new increases to the various premiums which were bargained did not go into effect. Many nurses reached out to WSNA to share what premiums were specifically impacted, and we appreciate your efforts in notifying us. Since then, both WSNA and SHMC attorneys have been in conversation and discussing this issue. We have found more time is needed for further dialogue, therefore as of today, February 10, WSNA has decided to file an Association Group grievance to protect timelines on this issue and ensure the grievance process is underway for the nurses.

So, hang tight SHMC RNs! This issue is at the forefront of our work, and we will continue to provide timely updates immediately to the nurses on this very important topic.
