Case Management Group MOU - Bargaining Update #2

On March 19, we met with the Hospital for our second bargaining session. We had another packed and productive day. Per the Side Letter – Case Managers, the ‘parties shall aim to complete bargaining’ ‘within ninety (90) calendar days from the date of ratification.’ We are well on our way. The WSNA contract ratified on January 31, 2026. So, we have our work cut out for us to get to the finish line. Thank you for showing up and being engaged in this rigorous process!
A Focus on Priority Issues
We spent a significant amount of our time discussing priority issues based on the survey results and your direct input. Subjects included:
- Schedules (shift lengths, patterns, etc.)
- Weekends (optional, premiums, Baylor, etc.)
- Safe Staffing/Caseload
- Transition of Leave & Benefits
Proposals
We passed proposals to the Employer on:
- Schedules/Weekends
- Remote Work
- Rest & Meal Breaks
- Safe Staffing Levels
- Staffing Oversight Committee
- Committees
The Employer communicated a plan to have responses to our proposals at the start of our next bargaining session on April 2. We also agreed to exchange relevant information prior to that time in order to keep things moving forward.
