New Psychiatric Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Classification

We are happy to announce that after almost 3 years of compelling and advocating for Seattle King County to develop a new classification for Psychiatric Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners (Psych ARNP and Psych ARNP-Jail), we have finally come to an agreement. Psych ARNPs are in high demand and have been hard to recruit and retain. This will be a different pay scale for this classification than the current ARNP for 2022, please see the attached MOA. This is a great step in the right direction for the nurses at King County.

Your bargaining team,
Tyler Breier, Chair, Child Care Program
Tami Nesler, Grievance officer, MRJC
Carolyn Clark, Grievance officer, KCCF
Kaila Tang, PHN with NFP
Elena Schensted, PHN with First Steps
