Sip n’ Chat Monday and bargaining mediation Tuesday!
Posted Feb 20, 2026
Your WSNA negotiation team returns to the table with the County on February 24. More dates are being scheduled for the first week of March. We cannot wait!
As promised, we have reached out to mayors where Seattle King County nurses provide public health services to their residents and constituents. We have invited them to join us in these strenuous efforts to make a deal we can recommend to the nurses for a vote by contacting the newly inaugurated Executive Girmay Zahilay, who is the collective bargaining agent for the County. We know the Executive has many priorities to consider to these same individuals, parents and children, community members who rely upon the nurses to provide what is essential for their safety and well-being. Public Health nurses are an anchor in King County to achieve the Executive’s strategic priorities.
Here is how each of you can take action!
- Join us for our next virtual Sip n’ Chat on Monday, February 23 at 6 pm to show support for your team, get questions answered and address other workplace issues that are coming to light in CHS and JHS.
