Mid-session update and calls to action!

3879569727906070340

As if our bargaining campaign has not been long and difficult enough, we recently became aware of actions the County has communicated to CHS nurses in some parent child programs and work sites. In order to address these head-on, we have delivered a formal cease and desist and demand to bargain for what represents a change in working conditions, which are mandatory subjects of collective bargaining. Some of the issues include evaluation of current and alternative work schedules (AWS) and the part-time program, an increase of home and phone visits per workday. Thank you to the nurses who have communicated with us so that we can address it in a timely, coordinated manner. Stay tuned for updates.
