Reminder for our unity action on October 28!

Your WSNA bargaining team needs YOU to move the County. Do not miss out on the opportunity to bring our WSNA pride and resolve to the King County Council on Tuesday October 28. If you are not on shift, asleep, ill or away on vacay…. Please make all efforts to make our case to the KC Council members.

Remember, it is high participation in actions just like this that get us to an agreement your WSNA team can recommend to the voting membership. If you think your presence does not make a difference, that is not true. Nurses ask us, how do we get there? This is how 😊

Join our unity delegation as we deliver our petitions and address the full council about our fight for a fair contract on Tuesday October 28th.  We assemble at 115pm for a start at 130pm sharp. Wear your WSNA T-shirt, we will have extra. The Council is responsible for passing the budget, including the market-rate wages and longevity premiums we are fighting for.

What to expect!

  1. We are in the process of scheduling a meeting with the County Executive to drive home our message. Stay tuned!
  2. Send us your pics with your WSNA t-shirt as a selfie or with groups to tbarnes@wsna.org if you are on shift and unable to attend.
  3. We have speakers but your presence in blue will boost the impact. Bring family and friends! The Council chambers are located at 516 3rd avenue in Seattle, room 1001. The action should complete by 2pm.
