Negotiation update

On Monday, we had our 15th session at the bargaining table! This time we had a different mediator from our previous session due to our mediator being called away to intervene in a strike. Our assigned mediator should be back when we meet again on Friday.

Today, we gave PeaceHealth a proposal and they gave one back. PeaceHealth was asked to refrain from discussing specific proposals and ideas proposed in mediation. PeaceHealth declined to do that. Please know that any proposals sent from management are not final. Your bargaining team will spend the time between now and Friday, reviewing the proposal from management prior to our next meeting. We appreciate your patience and solidary as we continue to fight for a fair contract!

Unfortunately, there will be no observers allowed at our next session on Friday!

Clark County Council Meeting

Last week, WSNA officers Didi Gray and Dawn Marick attended the Clark County Council meeting where they spoke up about working conditions at the hospital and how tough bargaining is impacting the community. Use the links to view their public comments.
