WSNA Contract Negotiations Update: Correction regarding ratification bonus

The information I sent out regarding the ratification bonus was not accurate. It is 3% retro pay, but it is for nurses on the active payroll as of the date of payment, not on the date of ratification.

Please see the corrected message below:

The agreement includes 3% retro pay for all nurses employed at St Clare on the date of our ratification active payroll as of the date of payment, 6.5% wage increases the first full pay period after the ratification vote and many other contract improvements. We will be sending out a more detailed summary soon.

The ratification vote will be held:

Date: Monday, December 2, 2019

Place: St Clare Hospital, Classroom C

6:30 - 8:30 a.m.

10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

6 - 8:30 p.m.

We will have a summary as well as a complete redline of the contract at the vote available for review. Our negotiating team and attorney that were at the bargaining table will be there too.

I apologize for any confusion or problems this may have caused.

Sincerely,

Barbara Friesen, Nurse Rep bfriesen@wsan.org , 206-575-7979 ext. 3056
