Start your Labor Day 2026 with fellow union members and supporters at the annual gravesite remembrance of Ralph Chaplin and his historic contributions to the Labor movement in the early part of the 20th century. Union leaders and supporters have been meeting at his gravesite every Labor Day morning since 1999. Hear some inspiring words, meet some new people, and sing some fun labor songs. You are welcome to bring mementos to share from significant contract campaigns, union solidarity buttons or flowers.
The event is on September 7 from 10:30-11 a.m. at the Calvary Cemetery in Tacoma. 5212 S. 70th Street .
