Union News at St. Joe’s
Posted Mar 13, 2026
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first in-person union meet-up at Wander Brewing last week. It was great to connect with nurses outside of the hospital and hear directly about the issues you are facing on your units.
Advocating for your patients, your coworkers, and yourselves is a fundamental part of being a union nurse. When you speak up, it helps us identify problems early and take action to address them. Your voices guide our work and strengthen our union.
We hope to see even more of you at our next meet-up in April.
Details for the next meet-up:
April 7
1800–2000
Stemma Brewing West
500 Carolina St
Bellingham, WA 98225
Night Shift Rounding
Members of your WSNA board and your Nurse Representative will be rounding on night shift on March 16 from 2300–0100. We will stop by units to update union boards and check in with night shift nurses who may not have the opportunity to attend daytime events.
We look forward to seeing you on the unit.
