Upcoming union events

We have several upcoming union events that we are excited about. On 4/2/2024 we will be hosting an in-person unit rep meeting at The Pine Cone Cafe in University Place. There will be two meeting times, a morning meeting at 0800 and an evening meeting at 1800. Food and drink will be provided (you have to buy your own alcohol). This event is open to all current unit reps and anyone who is interested in becoming a unit rep. Being a unit rep is a great way to become engaged in the union and only requires a few hours per month! RSVP using the link below. We hope to see you there.

Nurses Week event planning

We are also planning several events during Nurses Week including a breakfast for all nurses on 5/9 in Lagerquist A. During the week we plan on holding gift give aways, handing out swag, and celebrating you! Planning is still underway, and we would love to have your help. There will be a Nurses Week planning committee meeting held virtually on 4/3 at 1400. If you are interested in helping out, please reach out to your nurse representative at JRichardson@WSNA.org.

Pre-Negotiation Survey Closes in 20 days

The pre-negotiation survey will be open until 4/15/2024. We want to hear from every nurse at St. Joe’s about what your priorities are as we head into negotiations later this Summer. The contract is a reflection of the collective wants and needs of all the nurses at St. Joe’s and we want to ensure that your voice is being heard at the bargaining table. If you haven’t had a chance yet, please fill out the survey by following the link below. If you have done so already, please share the link with your coworkers.
