Changes regarding pay periods

As you know, Astria payroll system needed an upgrade. The pay period has changed from Mon-Sun to Sunday through Saturday. This change occurred over this weekend. July 18 is the first day of the pay period moving forward. A few people scheduled to work this weekend may be short 12 hours on this pay period. If you need to make yourself whole, you can put in for 12 hours from your vacation/holiday bank. If you want to do this, please contact your manager as soon as possible to get it on this paycheck.

Temporary Memorandum of Understanding-Extra shift bonus

Astria has agreed to an extra shift bonus of $10/hr for day shift and $15/hr for nights. Originally, the bonus was for volunteers willing to work in Family Birth Center. The MOU has been extended to all nursing units as there is a shortage in all departments.
