Here we go! Negotiation Day 2

Negotiations with management continued for the second day with several responses from management on our initial proposals. We even had our first couple of TAs (tentative agreements) on language changes or omissions that align with current practice or contract intent. We will continue to negotiate for improvements to contract language that we have not found agreement on, such as break process, staffing, and overtime.

Your staff bargaining team members are vital to presenting the rationale for our proposals and how those proposals affect your working conditions. In the coming weeks we may need additional attendees to speak on behalf of one of our proposals. If you would like to be involved and help us present the “why” behind our proposals please contact one of your Officers or the WSNA Nurse Representative.

Please be sure to wear your “We support or bargaining team” stickers and pay attention to our communications for updates after each session.
