Your new nurse representative

At our local unit meeting last week, I announced that Jayson Dick will be your new nurse representative as of June 1.

It has been a pleasure to be your nurse rep for the past 12 years. This was a very difficult decision to make and you will all have a special place in my heart. I’ve always had a good working relationship with you all and your current officers are very dedicated. I will truly miss working with you.

I will finish any business I am currently working on at Astria Sunnyside including insurance rates for full time employees, super users, subject matter experts letter of understandings and any current grievances filed by me. Moving forward, Jayson will be working closely with the officers and with you for this year's negotiations. He will also attend Nurse Practice/Conference Committee. Going forward, please direct your questions/concerns to him.

You are in very capable hands with WSNA Nurse Rep Jayson Dick. You can contact him at jayson.dick@wsna.org or call/text his cell at (206) 858-2139.

Wishing you all the very best and thank you for working with me.

Sincerely,

Carmen S. Garrison, BSN, RN
