Come to our next Sip & Chat

Pre Negotiation Sip Chat 1

Hello, Astria Sunnyside WSNA bargaining unit members!

Please be aware that next week on October 22 we will be hosting a "Sip & Chat" in the education classroom at Astria Sunnyside Hospital from 6 until 8 p.m.

This "Sip & Chat" will serve as our negotiation kickoff event. This will be a chance for you to come and meet the new WSNA nurse representative Jennifer Jackson, get informed about the upcoming bargaining process and relay or discuss any issues you think we should be aware of and bring to the table. We will have pamphlets outlining the bargaining process, "I support my bargaining team" stickers to wear when we are actively negotiating, and there will be drinks and light refreshments.

Please make every effort to stop by so that we can have a full representation of members in all departments and your voices can be heard. This event lets us gauge the level of involvement that the members will have through negotiations and what level of support they can give to this process. It also shows the employer that staff is engaged and ready for this process. We look forward to seeing you all at this event!
