Supporting Our WSNA Bargaining Team

Our WSNA bargaining team at TG dedicated countless volunteer hours securing the contract victories we all benefit from. One way to show your appreciation is by donating PTO to help them recoup their time spent advocating for us.

Any donation, big or small, is meaningful.

Forms are due no later than March 6, 2026.

Contract Item: Internal Equity Review (Experience Credit)

For 30 days following contract ratification, nurses with international or LPN experience may request an internal equity review to ensure correct wage step placement based on their experience.

Important notes:

  • Management has not yet provided the experience review forms.
  • The union has received verbal confirmation that the 30-day window for submission will begin once the form is provided by management, ensuring members have the full period to complete it.
  • Step adjustments are prospective only and cannot decrease pay.
  • Step placement results under this MOU cannot be formally challenged through the grievance process.

We will update members once the forms are available.

Contract Item: Incentive Pay Plan (IPP)

MultiCare may offer Incentive Pay for extra shifts due to high census, vacancies, leaves, or other urgent needs.

Key points to understand:

  • Incentive Pay applies only to shifts specifically designated by management.
  • Nurses already scheduled for that shift are not eligible.
  • The amount is discretionary, management sets the dollar amount, with no cap defined in the contract.
  • Normal float rules apply; if floated, you still receive incentive pay for hours worked on eligible units.
  • Incentive Pay is paid for hours worked if FTE requirements are met.
  • Management reserves discretion to implement or discontinue the plan at any time.

The IPP is designed to be fair and flexible, but final decisions on eligibility and pay amounts rest with management.

Thank you for staying engaged and informed. Your participation in elections, PTO donations, and understanding of your contract benefits ensures a strong and united workforce.
