WSNA staff contact

Latest update

Our Next Contract Starts with Your Voice

The current contract between the WSNA nurses and management will expire on October 31, 2026. As we begin preparing for upcoming contract negotiations, we are launching a bargaining survey, and your input will help shape our priorities.

Every nurse’s perspective matters. The feedback you share will help identify the issues that matter most to us as we prepare for the bargaining table. Your experiences, concerns, and ideas will directly inform the priorities we bring forward in negotiations.

Take the survey today and make your voice heard.

The survey will remain open until March 20, 2026, but completing it today helps ensure strong participation from across our bargaining unit. The strength of our contract depends on unity, engagement, and collective action. When nurses stand together in solidarity and participate in the process, our voice becomes stronger and our ability to achieve meaningful improvements grows.

As part of this process, please take a moment to update your current contact information. This information is kept confidential and is used only by WSNA and your negotiating team to share important updates, answer questions, and keep you informed throughout the negotiating process.

If you would like to connect in person, WSNA Nurse Representative Ryan Silva will be available in the cafeteria on Wednesday, March 11, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This is a great opportunity to ask questions, share thoughts, and learn more about the upcoming negotiations.

Thank you for your continued commitment, involvement, and dedication to your patients, your colleagues, your community, and our profession. When nurses come together with unity, solidarity, and purpose, we build the strength needed to move forward with clarity, confidence, and a shared vision for the future.

Together, our voices are stronger.

Resources and tools

Document unsafe conditions

If you find yourself in a situation that you believe creates unsafe conditions for patients or for you, you should complete a Staffing Complaint / ADO Form as soon as possible.

By completing the form, you will help make the problem known to management, creating an opportunity for the problem to be addressed. Additionally, you will be documenting the facts, which may be helpful to you later if there is a negative outcome.

WSNA also uses your ADO forms to track the problems occurring in your facility. When you and your coworkers take the important step of filling out an ADO form, you are helping to identify whether there is a pattern of unsafe conditions for you or your patients at your facilities. This information is used by your conference committee, staffing committee, and WSNA labor staff to improve your working conditions.

Representation rights

As a union member, you have the right to have a representative present in any meetings with management that could potentially lead to disciplinary action against you.

If called into a meeting with management, read the following to management when the meeting begins:

If this discussion could in any way lead to my being disciplined or terminated, I respectfully request that my union representative be present at this meeting. Without representation present, I choose not to participate in this discussion.

Find out more about this crucial right and how to exercise it to ensure your fair treatment and protection.
