We are quickly approaching the start of bargaining. Your team is already hard at work preparing.  Over the upcoming weeks, we will be shining a spotlight on WSNA nurses leading the work.

Today we'd like to introduce our bargaining team member from Jones Procedural, Allison Wortman. here is what she said:

"I work on Jones 5 in admit/recovery. I have been a nurse for 5 years and have been involved with the union since the last contract cycle. I also sit on your staffing committee every month. I have decided to join the bargaining team again because it is important for me to work for a fair contract. We as nurses have been put through the ringer by VM these last few years and I want to make sure our voices are heard!

Away from the nursing world, I love to hike near my home in Everett. I also like reading and joining my unit's monthly book club. I spend a majority of my free time with my husband and two adorable corgis."

The bargaining survey is how we set our priorities at the table this summer, if you haven't already, please complete it here:
