We have a contract at Virginia Mason!

We are happy to report that the contract was approved (or ratified) by you, the members, Friday with an overwhelming YES response. Thank you to everyone who showed up to vote and to every team member who was there to answer questions and assist during the vote.
What's next?
The contract is then reviewed with the proverbial “fine-tooth comb” and once that is completed it will be distributed to both Virginia Mason management and your WSNA negotiating team members for their signature. When every signature is obtained, the contract is then posted for all. This obviously doesn’t happen overnight so in this interim period of time, if you have any questions please reach out to one of the officers who can answer those for you.

Thank you to everyone who voted on Friday. I want to extend a huge thanks to all of the RNs that offered their voices and perspectives on all of the issues. Please note: The fight, especially for staffing, is not over! Now is the time to build on this engagement.
