Announcing change in WSNA Nurse Representative

My name is Janet Stewart, BSN, RN. I am pleased to be your new WSNA Nurse Representative. I have received my handoff from Travis Elmore who I know has served you well. He trained me to be a WSNA local unit grievance officer eight years ago when I worked as a critical care nurse in Tacoma. I also served 2 terms on the WSNA Cabinet on Economic and General Welfare before coming to WSNA as a Nurse Representative. I have a passion for advocating for nurses and am happy to be assigned to the Washington Soldiers Home. As a veteran army nurse, I also have a special place in my heart for our veterans. Please feel free to contact me to chat or ask questions.

I can be reached at jstewart@wsna.org or at 206-735-6484.

Contract negotiations

We will soon be headed into Contract Negotiations. I would like to know your needs and concerns related to your contract so I can appropriately advocate for you. Please complete the Pre-Negotiations Survey no later than April 15, 2022.
