It's time to vote!

We have a tentative contract agreement with the State of Washington. The coalition negotiation team worked extremely hard during this difficult time in order to reach this tentative agreement. Your negotiation team is recommending a YES vote.

Unfortunately, due to the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic crisis and its effects on the state budget, no one was able to gain any wage increases for the life of the contract. We were able to bargain some meaningful contract language that applies to Safety in the Workplace, professional training and meal & rest breaks. Additionally, agency-designated non-backfill positions will take one furlough day per month from July 1, 2021 until June 30, 2023 with the potential for additional furlough dates. We are glad to announce that healthcare costs are maintained at 85% Agency cost and 15% employee cost.

Place- Washington Soldiers Home – Orting

Time- 6 to 7:30 a.m.
Place- Washington Soldiers Home – Orting
