Your team of AMR regis­tered nurses met with AMR manage­ment and attorney for our first bargaining session on Thursday, Nov. 4. WSNA offered our opening proposal and we had some encour­aging discus­sions about our goals of recog­nizing the mutual inter­ests of the employer as well as the RNs working at AMR. WSNA’s opening proposal was compre­hen­sive and included proposals on both working condi­tions and economics as well.

The employer will be working on a counter offer until our next sched­uled bargaining session set for Tuesday, Nov. 16.

The prior­i­ties for our bargaining were devel­oped through the WSNA negoti­a­tions survey responses as well as numerous one on one conver­sa­tions with AMR RNs regarding what these should be.

We are fighting for a fair and just contract for everyone that continues to give their all each and every day in the name of safe patient care.
