Contract bargaining update

Your team of AMR registered nurses met with AMR management and attorney for our first bargaining session on Thursday, Nov. 4. WSNA offered our opening proposal and we had some encouraging discussions about our goals of recognizing the mutual interests of the employer as well as the RNs working at AMR. WSNA’s opening proposal was comprehensive and included proposals on both working conditions and economics as well.

The employer will be working on a counter offer until our next scheduled bargaining session set for Tuesday, Nov. 16.

For any questions or concerns, please contact bargaining team members Chris Marshall or Heidi Odupitan.

The priorities for our bargaining were developed through the WSNA negotiations survey responses as well as numerous one on one conversations with AMR RNs regarding what these should be.

We are fighting for a fair and just contract for everyone that continues to give their all each and every day in the name of safe patient care.

Stay tuned for updates.
