Consecutive Weekend Pay Update!

Last summer WSNA won a grievance in arbitration that was filed on your behalf. MultiCare had attempted to put limits on who qualified for consecutive weekend pay, but these limits were not in accordance with our Collective Bargaining Agreement (contract). The arbitrator ruled that MultiCare violated the contract when it did not pay premium pay to nurses who picked up additional weekend shifts (resulting in them working consecutive weekends).

We were recently notified that your Consecutive Weekend back pay should have been reflected on your 1/2/26 paycheck. If you believe you should have received this but did not, please reach out to your manager. If your manager is unable to help, then please reach out to Nurse Reps Travis Elmore Nelson at telmore@wsna.org and Kira Twiggs at ktwiggs@wsna.org for further assistance.

Stay in the Loop!

As our contract negotiations approach, it’s crucial that every nurse stays informed on what’s happening at the bargaining table and beyond. If you’re not getting email updates from WSNA, check your junk and spam folders. Please make sure to stay subscribed to WSNA for important Local Unit Updates - unsubscribing to just one WSNA email unsubscribes you from all future updates.
