Bargaining team update

Update on new nurses coming into the bargaining unit

We have formed a bargaining team to start the process of adding approximately (62) NW Clinic RNs, Clinical Coordinators and others to the existing contract.

We met with many of these nurses and look forward to having them join us.

We will be meeting with UWMC and NWH management along with (5) of the nurses coming in, plus two Local Unit Officers from NWH and two local unit officers from UWMC. The WSNA Nurse Reps from both facilities will join us as well.

The nurses joining the bargaining team are:
Brenda Clawson (Clinic Nurse) nurbac03@gmail.com
Janell Christianson (Clinic Nurse Lead) jchristianson23@gmail.com
Sheila Martin (Clinical Coordinator) samartin73@gmail.com
Heidi Glendenning (Clinical Coordinator) heidianneg20@gmail.com
Penny Brooks (Nursing Shift Manager) pabseattle@hotmail.com

Thanks to any other nurses who volunteered their time. We’re still looking for nurses to act as Unit Reps for these new areas and other units/depts at NWH.

Our first date of bargaining will be Friday, August 23. Stay tuned for updates following that session.

In solidarity!

Tiffany Guyette, BSN, RN, Local Unit Co-Chair

John Brown, RN, Local Unit Co-Chair
