On Tuesday, July 27, we experi­enced a great turnout of enthusiastic RNs to vote on the ratifi­ca­tion of our Collec­tive Bargaining Agree­ment between UWMC Northwest and Washington State Nurses Associ­a­tion for the period of July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2023.

This vote passed by an overwhelming majority.

Thanks to all nurses who kept each other engaged, informed, and wearing WSNA blue on their units. Manage­ment indicated that they knew they were negoti­ating with the entire bargaining unit, not just those at the table. Now is the time to build on this engage­ment. We want to extend a huge thanks to all of the RNs that offered their voices and perspec­tives on all of the issues. We also want to thank the dedicated bargaining team consisting of your RN colleagues that spent hundreds of hours securing a fair and just contract for RNs at UWMC-Northwest.
