UWMC Retention incentive bargaining update

Your WSNA bargaining Teams from UWMC Montlake and Northwest met with UWMC leadership on Thursday, Oct. 28 for a second bargaining session for a proposed Retention Incentive MOU.

RNs from both UWMC Montlake and NW agreed to attend and offer their disapproval of the employers $5K for 2 year commitment proposal to Montlake CNO Cindy Sayre and others. A big thanks to all of these brave RNs that gave their candid accounts and feedback for why the employers 2 years for $5K commitment is simply not enough to create an incentive to sign such an agreement.

Unfortunately, the employer came back with only a slightly modified proposal that has again fallen short of the mark.

Our team will be convening next week to determine the direction we need to go in order to get the recognition and retention bonus RNs deserve.
