Changes to your schedule

We have heard from the nurses that UWMC NW is trying to get rid of pattern schedules. This was something discussed during integration and was supposed to be preserved for the nurses working at Northwest Hospital. Please find the QR and Link below where you can write a letter explaining to management why we need to keep the longstanding patterned schedules nurses want. We want to present these letters at the Nurse staffing committee meeting on June 5 at 0800, all are welcome to attend, it is via Zoom. We would love to see as many nurses attend as possible, and we are looking for staffing representatives from each unit to attend monthly. To join use the link below:

We have a new officer!

We would like to welcome Mary Stupek as our local unit membership officer. Mary is a 30+ year nurse working in the resource pool. Please join us in welcoming Mary to her new role at UWMC NW.

Preceptor Pay

We have a grievance going on behalf of the clinic nurses. UWMC NW agreed during bargaining that they would be included in the preceptor premium. Going forward this has not been honored and nurses are being denied this premium outside of the main campus. If any of the clinic nurses going forward are denied this premium, please let us know so we can add you to the ongoing grievance.
