Hospital Staffing Committee Update

- Reminder that anonymous submissions of ADOs (Staffing Complaint) are unable to be appropriately investigated. If you are concerned about a complaint, contact Acacia Prather, Co-Chair or Laurie Robinson, Nurse Representative.
Emergency Department Representative needed for HSC
Are you interested in having a voice in nursing staffing decisions? Would you like to represent our peers and help shape staffing levels on your unit? Our hospital staffing committee currently has an opening for an EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT representative., and we’d love you to get involved! This is a great opportunity for nurses to make a meaningful impact.
Committee Details:
- Paid time to attend.
- Relief from duty if you are working.
- Virtual meeting format
- Meets on the first Monday of each month from 7:30-9a.
- Focused discussions on staffing plans and addressing staffing concerns.

Lauren’s Lap SAVE THE DATE
We are looking for 12 nurses to volunteer with us on Saturday October 17, 2026. This is our third year partnership with the Lauren McCluskey Foundation to provide basic first aid and water stations on their racecourse. This event focuses on increasing campus safety awareness related to domestic violence reporting in honor of Lauren McCluskey. All supplies will be provided including T-shirts and a free lunch! Commitment is roughly 9 am-1 pm.
Our union is also offering TEN registration spots to any Pullman nurse who would like to run the race themselves.
