We are encouraged to report that the effective date, communicated by the County, is September 27. 

A reminder that you can anticipate that your pay statements will reflect the new wage increase across the board of 3.75%. This general wage increase will also be paid retroactively to January 1,2026. Nurses are encouraged to monitor their pay statements closely in the first full pay period following the effective/implementation date. The contract term is Jan 1, 2026, through Dec 31, 2029, and will be published to your local unit webpage in coordination with the effective date.

We share the frustration with the prolonged transmittal process this year. We agree it disrespects the local unit members and WSNA as the collective bargaining agent. Nurses are encouraged to read all WSNA communications, check out your local unit webpage, and reach out with questions, concerns, representation needs, and ideas to support a strong contract term 😊
