Contract update and MORE!
Posted Sept. 8, 2026
As promised, this is your contract transmittal update! Today, the King County council voted to adopt your 2026-2029 WSNA contract. Next stop? Signature of the agreement by the Executive within 10 days to become ordinance and therefore, effective to implement.
We will provide an update as soon as we know the Executive has signed the staff nurses contract. You can anticipate that your pay statements will reflect the new wage increase across the board of 3.75%. This general wage increase will also be paid retroactively to January 1,2026. Nurses are encouraged to monitor their pay statements in the first full pay period following the implementation date. We will remind the nurses on that specific date 😊.
REMINDER! Union Steward training launches on September 16 on Microsoft Teams 7-8:30pm
