Get ready for information sessions and online voting!
Posted May 21, 2026
The tentative agreement (TA) reached with the County on May 14 now requires a vote of the WSNA members in the local unit. The TA summary is a must-read to become knowledgeable about the many gains the team and the bargaining unit made over the last 16 months! Your team went to the bargaining table armed with your top priorities identified in the negotiation survey. This TA is a result of our unified actions and commitment to hold the line, containing many valuable gains.
Your WSNA negotiation team recommends a “YES” vote!

Who: all WSNA staff nurses covered by the contract are welcome to join the information sessions. Only WSNA members in good standing are eligible to cast a vote on the contract.
Why: this is YOUR TA that was achieved as a result of solidarity.
How: WSNA began to provide secure, online voting since the last time the nurses voted on a contract with a platform endorsed by the US department of labor, Election Buddy. Voting nurses have expressed much satisfaction, high voter participation and success with this process. Following the information sessions, nurses will receive an email with a unique voting key associated with their membership information. Members can also contact the Nurse Rep tbarnes@wsna.org if your voting key has not arrived in your personal email by June 2nd (check spam or junk mail just in case 😊) or any technical issues that may arise throughout the voting window period.
Electronic ballots will be delivered to your personal email address inbox on June 2 following the information session.
The voting window will be from Tuesday June 2 at 8 pm and closes Wednesday June 3 at 8 pm.
