Mediation Dates Canceled

Your bargaining team made accommodations to fully engage in the mediation sessions with the County on January 26 and 30. However, the County was not prepared to do the same. We know how incredibly frustrating it is that the County’s foot-dragging is preventing us from being able to reach a fair deal. We are hopeful, however, that working with a mediator will help keep negotiations on track, and help hold the County accountable.

We remain committed to bargaining the best agreement we can on behalf of Seattle King County Public Health Nurses. This includes a review of our escalation plan and maximizing our collective power. More to come…

We will continue to hold the County accountable.

Union STRONG!

Your Bargaining Team,
Christopher Salatka, Local Unit Vice-Chair
Annie Roberts, Local Unit Secretary/Treasurer
Zerai Asgedom, Local Unit Grievance Officer
