Bargaining Update: Session 11 (February 23, 2026)

2026 02 23 PHSW Session 11 Team Photo

We completed the first day of a three-day bargaining stretch to get this contract to the finish line before expiration on Saturday. Management is looking hard at the costs of the economic proposals on the table, and Tuesday morning they plan to present a comprehensive economic counterproposal. We’ll spend the rest of the next two days working toward a new contract, but we’ll only reach a TA and send it to all of you for ratification if our team is proud to recommend voting “yes.”

THIS WEDNESDAY: Tune In to a Special Afternoon Edition of Southwest Bargaining Beat – LIVE from the bargaining table at 1 p.m.!

Join us this Wednesday at 1 p.m. for a special edition of our weekly Bargaining Beat virtual meeting! We will be giving you the very latest updates LIVE from the bargaining table as we head into the last few hours of bargaining  before expiration. You won’t want to miss this one!

Send us your questions to bpercival@wsna.org, and we’ll make sure to address them during the meeting.
