We completed the first day of a three-day bargaining stretch to get this contract to the finish line before expiration on Saturday. Management is looking hard at the costs of the economic proposals on the table, and Tuesday morning they plan to present a comprehensive economic counterproposal. We’ll spend the rest of the next two days working toward a new contract, but we’ll only reach a TA and send it to all of you for ratification if our team is proud to recommend voting “yes.”

The Final Countdown
