Bargaining Sessions Begin
Confirmed dates are Thursday, July 23 and Friday, July 24
These first two bargaining sessions mark the official start of negotiations with the employer. While bargaining itself takes place at the table, every member plays an important role in building a strong contract. Your support, engagement, and solidarity help strengthen our voice throughout the process.
How can you help?
Observe a Bargaining Session
Have you ever wondered what bargaining looks like?
Members are invited to express interest in serving as bargaining observers. As an observer, you'll have the opportunity to watch the bargaining process firsthand and gain insight into how proposals are presented, discussed, and negotiated.
Having members present demonstrates the strength, unity, and engagement of our bargaining unit.
If you're interested in observing a session, please complete the interest form below:

Monday, July 27
Following our first two bargaining sessions, join us for a Bargaining Bits & Bobs. Both sessions will cover similar information, giving everyone an opportunity to hear an update regardless of their schedule.
We'll share highlights from the first two days of bargaining, discuss what comes next, answer your questions, and provide space for members to share any thoughts or concerns as negotiations continue.

Stay Engaged -Wear your WSNA Blue!
This is your contract, and every member has a role to play in achieving a strong agreement. Whether you attend an event, volunteer as an observer, ask questions, or simply stay informed, your involvement helps build the solidarity that strengthens our bargaining position.
A simple way to show your support is by wearing your WSNA blue! If you need a T-shirt, no problem, come to the kickoff event to get yours.
Be a part of the CAT Team! (Contract Action Team)
The contract action team is a body of nurses who are the liaison between the negotiating team and the broader group of nurses. The CAT team is critical in organizing and helping to carry out actions that arise at the table and are time sensitive. The level of commitment is up to you. All are welcome!
