Happy Nurses Month!

Tacos

Your local unit officers will be having Taco Boxes delivered to the units this week. We appreciate all the support and advocacy our nurses are doing. We have a hard job and want you all to know you are appreciated. We will have them for both Day and Night shifts, as well as the outpatient clinics.

Coffee

Please join your bargaining team at Starbucks on Thursday, May 29, from 0800-1000 and in the evening, 2000-2200. Nurses will be able to ask questions and receive a free beverage or food item of their choice.

LTCC

We have heard from you and want you to come and bring your concerns forward to management. We will be having a JLM on Thursday, May 29 at 1100. This is an open forum for nurses to come and speak with management about concerns on the unit. If you can attend, please use the link below:

ADO

If you are being staffed below your matrix on your unit, please file an ADO. If you are not receiving your meal or rest breaks, please file an ADO and clock out missed meal and rest breaks. If you experience violence, verbal, physical, or emotional, please file an ADO and PSN. ADOs are more than just for staffing.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to one of the local officers (please add them) or your nurse representative, Stephenie Troftgruben, at stroftgruben@wsna.org.
