WSNA continues to work on a Meal and Rest Break agreement

WSNA staff and RN leaders are scheduled to meet with UWMC leadership on Thursday October 31st to continue discussions around a Meal and Rest Break MOU that not only recognizes the recent changes in the law, but also meets the needs of the RNs we represent.

We have made headway in finding common ground in allowing RNs to have flexibility in breaks and meal waivers without being forced to work a 13-hour day.

WSNA is optimistic that the parties will reach agreement in the upcoming weeks and alleviate the stress this has created for RNs.

We speak with RNs daily on the subject and your voices have driven this process.

Together, we win!

In Solidarity,
