WSNA had been working with the employer for months on getting to a place of agreement on a MOU for Meal and Rest Breaks.

This Memorandum of Understanding includes second meal waivers with a life span of RN choice.

This includes the ability to waive a second meal break and avoid a mandatory 13 hour work day.

This includes the ability to combine meal and breaks.

Lastly, this MOU includes the ability to be flexible in the timing of your meal and breaks.

You can view the final version of the MOU on the local unit website  along with the Meal Period Waiver Template

Your Local Unit Leaders recommend a "YES" vote!

In solidarity,
Chair - Elizabeth Gebretsadik
Vice Chair - Kaitlyn Fochs
